Evaluation

Our filming at Danson underpass and the flat location overall went well, the filming at the underpass required more actors to help us out and this was one of our main problems, we found it hard to find people that we wanted to fit the more ‘street look’ so we had to make them fit more how we wanted by the way we dressed them. We wanted the boys to be in dark clothes and hoodies looking rough rather than smart tops and hair perfect, as for the girls we wanted a range of some to have dark lipstick on to show the slightly rebellious, daring, party side and others to be in dark grunge clothes.  For the filming of the discovery of the dead body after the party we needed the actors to look more distressed with smudged make up, hair wild, as if they had been not aware of what they were doing, moreover the make up on the dead girl was even more smudged with blood all over her neck to show signs of a struggle.

I feel the filming at the flat location when discovering the dead body was a more successful days filming, as it was just the 4 people in our group we required we got it done quicker because  we were all aware of what we wanted to do and how we needed to do it. We took all the make-up and props we needed to make the characters how we needed them to.  The flat was the ideal place to shoot this scene it added to the grittiness and dirtiness of the urban teenagers film, we thought the place where the dead body was found was good as it was an enclosed space outside of the party. The filming at Danson underpass took a bit longer than we originally thought as we had to make sure everyone was coming on time and put them in their places of where we wanted them to be. The shooting script covered most eventualities along with the plan we did before, this did help us; as we followed where we had put people and the different types of camera angles we were going to use.

Discovering The Dead Body Scene

We used fake blood and food coloring to make the blood look real. we also smudged our actors make up to show that they were drunk and messed up their hair. we especially messed up the actor who was dead's make up and hair to show she had been through a struggle we also smudges mascara on her arms to make bruises.

the costumes show elements of grunge and the nirvana t-shirt helps to appeal to the teenage audience and show our gritty teenage horror genre
