Editing

 We imported different tracks to feature in our film, such as  a heartbeat noise while she is stumbling down the underpass taking drugs and the dub-step song while she is at the party. We had to change the order in which we fitted these tracks and also had to trim part of the clips so we had the right beat and tempo for that part of the film we wanted it to fit.

We changed some of the audio adjustments on the track so that we wasn't using copyright and also so that it sounded faint as if they were outside of the party, only hearing the muffling noise of the bass.

We also sped some bits up and slowed down others, we slowed down the scene in which she is being sick this is to show the effects of drugs and to have more of an impact to the audience.

We edited the colour of the discovering of the dead body scene because we felt it didn't look as we wanted it to, we wanted to have more of a scary effect so changed to a slightly more darker colour to add to the dinginess and darkness of the atmosphere and the area in which it was discovered.

When we had all the footage in the right order we then started to add in transitions to make the different clips flow better. An example of this is when we used the cross blur transition after smoke is blown into the camera, this is to give the illusion she is unaware of what has happened after she has taken the drugs and then is at the party.

When we first imported the filming of our party scene the quality wasn't very clear and we couldn't see a lot of the images due to the strobe light we had, therefore we had to edit it to make it clearer. We changed the brightness over 50%, we increased the contrast levels and also changed the colour to black and white this was so that there were two obvious different colours in the clip so it was more distinctive to see.
